OAK HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL
Oak Harbor Washington
1922 The Acorn

The 1922 Acorn , was published by the associated Student Body of Oak Harbor High School 1922. It was printed by the Farm Bureau News and the picture engravings done by Seattle Engraving Co., Seattle WA.

It is has a soft cover, in the 5 x 9 inches format. it contains 49 pages with including 11 pages of advertising.

The Seniors have biographies and portraits. All the other classes have group pictures with a non-identifing class list (exception freshmen who have no list at all). There is a large school history section which contains the alumni list... 1914-1921. All activity pics are group pictures and not indentified.

I create keywords (given and surnames) for the pages with identified pictures for the online search engine. In this case, that meant only seniors, and the classes and alumni lists...

This book was scanned at 100 dpi... this won't give the best printed page but does allow for better clarity in reading the text. It was scanned by volunteers at 3rd St. Book Exchange, Marysville WA. The book is part of a FREE genealogy library that contains over 5200 yearbooks. This presentation and the scanned images are not to be duplicated without the express permission of the webmaster Exception is made for personal use of relatives pictures... (this is suppose to be FREE genealogy/history after all). Better pictures can be scanned...
