Auburn Washington
1927 The Invader

The Invader 1927 was the yearbook published by the class of 1927 Auburn High School. Heppenstall Engraving Co., Seattle, U.S.A. did the engraving and printing. The book was signed by Nelli Heron, the teacher of Domestic Science, and bears no other signatures or autographs.

The book is cloth binding on the small size. 67 pages in length with an additional 9 pages of advertisements and jokes. The book also includes literary selections. Besides the senior pictures the juniors also received portrait pictures (unique). The Sophomores were a group picture without identification... and most of the group pictures do not list names...

I have surnames on the class pages and several other pages to help with the online indexing....

This book was scanned at 100 dpi... this won't give the best printed page but does allow for better clarity in reading the text. It was scanned by volunteers at 3rd St. Book Exchange, Marysville WA. The book is part of a FREE genealogy library that contains over 5200 yearbooks. This presentation and the scanned images are not to be duplicated without the express permission of the webmaster Exception is made for personal use of relatives pictures... (this is suppose to be FREE genealogy/history after all). Better pictures can be scanned...
